At LanguageUK we provide English courses for adults, juniors, teachers and families. Our classes have a maximum of 15 students for both adult and junior groups. We give our students and groups a good level of personal attention and we have achieved this by remaining a small independent school. Our students come to us with the aim to reach a desired level of English within a certain time frame. While most students wish to take a general English course, some have goals to achieve an external examination which could mean promotion or entrance into a university. It might be that a student needs training or guidance related directly to their current or future employment. Some students wish to bring their children to have an English experience whilst they are studying. Our centre is based in the historical city of Canterbury, an ideal location to learn English. Canterbury is home to three universities, a busy theatre, three cinemas, plenty of shops, gyms and a sports centre. There is a street market twice a week and a thriving farmers market selling local produce and open every day. The town is 1 hour from London by train. The relaxed atmosphere, combined with the personal service, quality training and international atmosphere, helps you to make fast progress. We run adult and family courses from this site and we also offer the Junior Programme for school or college groups. During the forthcoming year, LanguageUK will be working on developing new courses for professionals. 40+ groups courses and developing teacher training programmes. LanguageUK is committed to continual professional development for its staff and is open to new ideas and innovations. LanguageUK has a high number of regular students returning every year and maintains contact with its community of students on a regular basis.
