The third Partnered Remote Language Improvement project – PRELIM3 – consisted of 25 partnerships between accredited UK English language teaching institutions (UKIs) and English Teacher Associations (ETAs) outside the UK.

Many English UK member centres offer English language courses to clients of RefuAid, our partner charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers in continuing their careers or education in the UK.
2023 was UK ELT's best year since the pandemic, our student statistics show.
Student numbers rose to 76% of 2019 levels and student weeks to 71%. Recovery was more evenly distributed than in 2022, with twice as many of our members exceeding their 2019 student weeks – 26% compared with 13%.
Our quarterly statistics scheme (QUIC) results suggest that 2023 business reached 83% of 2019 levels, a better recovery than in any of the intervening years.
