Since 1955, Bell has provided outstanding education to students from around the world, transforming the lives of over one million people. Through our teaching approach developed with an Emeritus Professor at the University of Cambridge, The Bell Way encourages students to aim high, exceed their learning goals and become confident users of the English Language.
Bell was awarded 14 points of excellence in their recent British Council inspection, and the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) report in June 2018 also awarded them an ‘excellent’ rating: “Teaching is excellent and results in high levels of student progress. Teachers are experienced, well-qualified and have excellent subject knowledge.”
Bell has two year-round adult centres: Cambridge and Central London, and a year-round young learner centre in St Albans - all with accommodation residencies within walking distance.

Located close to the River Thames in the vibrant area of Bankside, Bell London is a brand new school in the heart of the city - close to popular tourist destinations, such as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, The Tate, and St Paul’s Cathedral, as well as numerous restaurants and shops.
At Bell London, students can choose to improve their English on our Effective English course or gain an internationally recognised qualification on an IELTS Exam Preparation course. We also offer 1-to-1 tuition, a coures leading to an internal qualification in project Management and courses for groups.
All our courses include the opportunity for students to take part in our full programme of Language in Action activities (at no extra cost), designed to enhance their learning and use of the English language outside the classroom. This includes, walking tours of London, trips to the theatre and dinners at local restaurants.
Bell London has 12 air-conditioned classrooms, fast Wi-Fi and high-quality student facilities. With our small class sizes, students can also expect a participative and personalised experience during their studies.
Our school features a spacious learning and social area, with computers for students use, a wide-screen TV, hot and cold drinks machines and access to a microwave. Students also have access to a variety of learning resources.
