  • Changes to student visa applications from next month

    From 22 February 2010, any student who applies by post or at one of the UKBA's public enquiry offices to study in the UK under Tier 4 of the points-based system must possess a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) from their prospective sponsor.

  • English language testing for Tier 4 visas

These controversial questions were recently discussed by an expert panel and a large audience of education providers at a conference organised by Cambridge ESOL called Language at the Border: Assessing Language Ability for Study in the UK.

  • Tier 4 CAS Go Live date

    We have received confirmation from UKBA that the go live date for using a CAS only, for all visa applications, is 22 February 2010.

    It is likely that the application form will change to reflect this. We will post a link to the new form if/when available.
