It's that time of the year again where we ask our 330+ accredited member centres to spend a little time pulling together their 2022 student data for our annual student statistics report.

The reopening of travel between England and China is great news for English UK member language centres hoping to welcome Chinese students in 2023. Covid testing before travel is now the only requirement. 

From 8 January 2023 Chinese nationals and certain visa holders can travel to China without needing to quarantine on arrival. All they will need is a negative PCR test taken not more than 48 hours before they travel.

English UK members and English teaching associations all around the world are joining forces to create resources to be used in classrooms of 25 nations.  

PRELIM 3 (Partnered Remote Language Improvement Project) is a 15-month project to develop and disseminate bespoke teacher support resources. 25 partnerships have been created between language centres and English Teacher Associations, working together to create resources designed specifically for the overseas teachers to use in their own classrooms with their students. 

An updated version of the English UK rules and articles of association has been published.
