London is one of the fashion capitals of the world, famous for its street style and cool designs. Designers and journalists come from all over the world to see the latest at the annual London Fashion Week, and many trainees want to study the subject in the UK.

And one London language school takes fashion more seriously than most. Islington Centre for English has such strong links with a top fashion college that it offers a summer course in the subject for starters as well as options for more committed students.

The UK Border Agency and English UK will be holding a briefing seminar for the benefit of educational agents in Turkey. The briefing will be held on Thursday 26 March at the Nippon Hotel (www.nipponhotel.com.tr) from 10:00-13:00. Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.

InterContinental Al Ain Resort

We would like to invite you to attend the Al Ain Fair. This is a workshop event organised by the British Council, English UK, UK Trade & Investment and VisitBritain.

The Al Ain Fair will bring together accredited UK English language centres and study abroad agents to meet and do business in the United Arab Emirates' Garden City, located only 90 minutes drive from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Participation is limited to just 70 organisations (30 educators and 40 agencies) and is open to English UK member centres and selected top quality agents from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Turkey.
