This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Diploma in ELT Management (DELTM) course, so what better time to develop your management skills and benefit from the experience of the course trainers?
With an impressive net promotor score of 80 from the previous year's participants this course comes highly recommended and provides excellent professional development for managers and aspiring managers of language centres.
Validated by Trinity College London and taking place over ten face to face sessions, the course focuses on management at three levels: routine, tactical and strategic. Training is delivered by George Pickering, Terry Phillips and Keith Harding, all experts with extensive ELT experience.
The course fee is £2,200 for English UK member centre staff.
The DELTM gets excellent feedback year on year, and there is a growing pool of alumni in UK ELT that have taken the course.
Some comments from the previous year's participants:
"The relevance and value of the (course and assignment) topics could not be questioned."
"Found all of the face to face sessions really interesting. Good balance between info-giving and practical workshop style activities. Was good to have a few different tutors through the course for difference of style and input. Basically loved it all!"
"The course was excellent and the trainers extremely knowledgeable."
