StudyWorld makes its mark in Manchester
2025 kicked off with a historic milestone for English UK, as we hosted StudyWorld for the first time in Manchester. With 33 countries represented, this year's event surpassed expectations, drawing educators and agents to the north of England to gather in the vibrant city of Manchester.

A special seminar programme on the Monday afternoon featured key industry speakers from VisitBritain, the British Council, Disquiet Dog, and English UK, sharing insights into the ELT landscape. StudyWorld Manchester saw enthusiastic participation from a wide range of partners, including premium sponsors IH Manchester, Centre of English Studies, and St Andrew's College Language Schools. Guard.me sponsored the refreshment breaks, while English UK North hosted the much-anticipated Tuesday evening party at the National Football Museum.

Educators scheduled an average of 30 meetings across the two days, reflecting high engagement and opportunities for valuable networking. With 98% of delegates reporting meaningful connections made in Manchester, Antonia Keatsa from L.Two Languages summed it up perfectly: "StudyWorld is where top connections happen—seamless networking, smart meetings, and a vibe that makes business effortless."
Slavenka Vukovic-Bryan, from Languages United, echoed this sentiment: 'We really enjoyed attending StudyWorld Manchester. The event was brilliantly organised, and we had fantastic conversations with agencies from all over the world, from Argentina to Uzbekistan!
