Description of centre

Personal Best International Education is part of Personal Best Education group which is a partner of the Mountbatten School in Hampshire where we are based.
We offer a programme with a difference - academic subjects taught by our qualified secondary school teachers and activities delivered by our year-round team of Personal Best instructors. And with our newly-built onsite accommodation, we provide residential courses to international students who will experience life in a UK secondary school alongside our own Mountbatten students.
Our aim it to equip young people with the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful future citizens who make a positive impact on the world.
With a maximum of 32 international students, we offer student-centred, learning in a safe and welcoming environment. The School is located in Romsey, which is a historical market town about an hour from Heathrow Airport.
Our CLIL methodology means that students simultaneously learn a subject while significantly improving English language acquisition. We can offer a variety of academic subjects from the UK curriculum such as science, technology, digital media and art. Students work together on interactive and engaging, enquiry-based projects with subject-specialist teachers.
Throughout the year, we can provide tailored closed group programmes including activities, excursions and company visits as required.
On our ‘Future World Citizens’ summer programme for individuals, students will explore various subject areas to develop their curiosity and problem-solving skills in investigating strategies to promote sustainable development in real-world contexts. They will be introduced to basic business concepts and develop vital future world skills. Students will work collaboratively in groups of 12 with 4 UK students in each class.
In combination with the intensive academic course, we provide a varied and structured multi-activity programme delivered by qualified sports and activities coaches along with excursions and study tours.
The School has impressive facilities with extensive grounds for football and rugby, tennis/basketball courts, sports hall, fitness centre, athletics track, music theatre & recording studio, drama room, dance studio and IT suite.
