Description of centre
British Learning Academy (BLA) originated from Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools, a well-known preparatory school with a hundred years of history. Established in 2011, BLA provides residential English language and activity programmes for groups of students aged primarily 11-17.
Our courses also include project-based and business-oriented programmes for individuals, groups, and companies.
Chichester University Bishop Otter campus is a 15 minutes walk from the town centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants.
Once a Roman settlement, Chichester is famous for its Cathedral, Festival Theatre, Roman city walls and much more. Students really enjoy spending their afternoons in the centre, shopping and sipping their coffees at Starbucks!
The campus was founded by William Otter, Bishop of Chichester, in 1839 and offers a combination of attractive, historic buildings together with excellent, modern facilities. Chichester is between Portsmouth and Brighton, on the south coast of England.
Bognor Regis is a seaside resort in West Sussex, close to Brighton and Chichester, also known as the “Little Brighton”. The town centre is characterised by large streets, with restricted access to cars, and offers a great variety of shops and cafes.
It is a major attraction for students who can safely walk around and go shopping together!
The campus is set in a leafy environment and has excellent modern facilities with well-equipped teaching and study rooms. All the student halls of residence are located on-site.
Bognor Regis campus is only an eight minute walk from the seaside with its long promenade full of kiosks, restaurants, and bars. Students looking for fish & chips or a fresh ice-cream will find their needs fully satisfied here!
The campus has a green park area that we use to organise various activities, including popular sports in the UK such as football, rugby, baseball. Indoors social spaces are used for laboratories like theatre and drama, spaghetti tower challenge and all evening activities.
