Description of centre
BLISS at KILGRASTON is a student centred English language summer school, set in spectacular Scotland. Running for 6 weeks in 2023, students can choose to improve and learn English alongside Horse - Riding, Golf, Sports, Arts and Crafts, Musical Theatre, Scottish Sightseeing, 121 Extra English and our super exciting Outdoor Adventure course.
Every weekend we have 2 full day trips to fantastic destinations, that are a must see for every student who comes to visit Scotland. Edinburgh, the inspiration for Harry Potter and Scotland's capital, has pretty streets and a stunning castle. Glasgow is home to fantastic galleries and shopping and St Andrews is a must see for the Old Course and the beach in the town where the future King of the UK met his wife, Catherine, to name just a few destinations.
We will be making full use of our great facilities including, sports fields, and swimming pool, as well as the many acres of stunning parklands. With our own on site horses, you can be sure that you'll make some pretty outstanding memories when you come to stay with us, not to mention lots and lots of international friends.
Our schedule is full and all based on English language learning, as we think that learning through experience is one of the very best ways to have the knowledge stick. Our curriculum is specifically designed to meet the needs of summer schoolers who are graded before they come and placed in classes according to age and level. We will encourage all our students to push themselves, while supporting them every step of the way.
We are just over one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports, where we will pick you up. Each students will have a designated meet and greet representative from BLISS at the airport on arrival and departure.
Our accommodation has been newly refurbished and has a lift for access. We have laundry rooms and kitchens attached to all boarding houses. We will eat our meals, all together and enjoy long summery days in Scotland
Here's to a great summer 2023 - see you there.
