Come to ManMet to improve your English and you’ll enjoy all the advantages of an intensive English programme that aims to improve every aspect of your listening, speaking, reading and writing. With our special methods and materials, you can make rapid progress and feel much more confident about your English. This can be the beginning of your success in your studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and the basis of a great career in business. Over 90% of the international students on these courses go on to study business, law, science, teaching, art and design and similar courses.
In addition we offer courses for teachers and language specialists:
3) MA TEFL
Open to international students with and without previous teaching experience. This intensive course can help you become a language expert.
4) Short courses especially designed for your group
We can tailor-make a course for you: teacher training, literature, intensive exam preparation - anything!

The English Language Centre is a small, friendly language centre in a big, buzzing university. You’ll get lots of personal attention from our experienced staff of teachers and teacher trainers. You’ll also have many opportunities to meet British students. You are sure to learn a lot about university life – the best way for you to prepare to progress onto your chosen degree course.
You’ll be able to enjoy the fantastic facilities of the university for study, sport and relaxation. You’ll work in our large library, and have regular sessions in our modern Media Centre.
