Dr Who found in Africa

Dr Who is one of the UK's most popular series. The story of a time-travelling alien with a blue phonebox spaceship, who looks human, has been running for almost 50 years and is watched all over the world.

These days the show's episodes are made with lots of money and computer special effects. In the 1960s, it was all done very cheaply and lots of the master tapes were recorded over once the episode was shown. This means there are lots of missing episodes from the 1960s and 1970s, and fans are keen to see them.

Now nine missing episodes have been found at a TV station in Nigeria. These include a complete six-episode story, and almost all the tapes for the classic story The Web Of Fear. The tapes were found by a man who specialises in tracking down missing shows. Both of these stories were last seen in 1968. Now there are just 97 episodes left to find.

Dr Who writer and actor Mark Gatiss said: "It's thrilling." Both stories are now available for download.

Don't label women, says high-flying lawyer

A lawyer who is married to the UK Deputy Prime Minister says women are still defined by silly labels, while men have unlimited options.

Miriam Gonzalez Durantez will be joining the publicity drive next week for a campaign encouraging women to go into schools to talk to girls about jobs and to act as role models.

She said women were defined by a series of silly labels, including "scary" if they have good jobs, "frustrated" if they don't have children and "fluffy" if they read women's magazines.

More overseas students coming to UK universities

An extra 126,000 international students are expected to attend UK universities in the next decade according to a new study by the British Council.

The report suggests the UK will be one of the fastest-growing destinations for international students, including those from India and Saudi Arabia.

Prince Harry's turn in the news

Royal news stories for the past few years have concentrated on Prince William's wedding, the birth of Prince George, and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Now it's Prince Harry in the news. He visited Australia this week, and got a huge welcome from crowds waving flags in Sydney Harbour. One woman was arrested by police after she paddled her kayak into the harbour with a sign reading "I heart you Prince Harry".

It is also rumoured that he is going to marry his girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, who is just 24 and has just graduated in dance.
