English Profile is a groundbreaking collaborative research project that is working to provide a detailed set of Reference Level Descriptions for English, to provide concrete examples of the competencies laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). English UK is a partner in this project.

Draft "Can Do" statements for C level learners have been added to the English Profile website www.englishprofile.org - Community - Forum.

Teachers and others involved in the teaching of high level learners are invited to provide comments and suggestions for refinement of these statements.
