The IATEFL ELT Management SIG is running a series of facilitated discussions on ELT leadership and management issues. To start with, these will take place on the Yahoo group which has links with the SIG.

You do not have to be a member of the SIG or IATEFL to join this group. If you are not a member of the group, and would like to take part in the discussions then you should go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/managersELT/ and click on the button marked Join This Group!

The first discussion in the series will run from February 15th - 26^th 2010 and will be on the subject of “Performance Management in Language Teaching Organisations” (fielded by Andy Hockley).  We would like to get people as involved as possible, and hopefully have productive and interesting conversations.

Following this opening discussion, there will be others, continuing with "Staff Development" from March 14th-28^th 2010 (facilitated by George Pickering) and then "Managing the Customer Journey" from May 9th - 23^rd 2010 (fielded by Arthur McKeown). 

A new platform for these discussions will be launched very soon, and of course we will let you know as soon as this happens.
