English UK member centre vote on fees for 2025
The rates for subscription fees for member centres are set by the members. This rule is set out in the English UK Rulebook.
The rate proposed is usually recommended by the Board of Trustees and is subject to a vote by an electronic ballot.
How much is the proposed fee increase for 2025?
At the November Board meeting, trustees voted to propose a membership fee increase of 4% for 2025. This equates to an increase in basic subscriptions of £66 per year for most individual member centres.
For the last two years, members voted in favour of 5% and 6% increases respectively. These increases followed a two-year freeze in 2021 and 2022.
Who can vote?
All 'primary contacts' of an English UK member centre can vote. If a primary contact represents a group, they can submit one vote per centre.
How do I vote?
The vote will be carried out via the platform ElectionBuddy. All primary contacts received a unique login to the platform.
The deadline to vote is 17:30 on Wednesday 27 November.
Where do my membership fees go?
The membership fee increase will allow us to continue our essential work for members in 2025. We provide market intelligence, tailored advice, a free annual members' conference, agent engagement activities, market development, subsidised training and advocacy on behalf of the sector.
What about fees for corporate members?
The membership fee for corporate members will increase by 4% for 2025. This equates to an increase of £46 + VAT. Fees for corporate members are not subject to a vote.
