Support our campaigning efforts and congratulate your MP on their election
The general election on 4 July was decisive, and we are now starting to build and maintain relationships with MPs, old and new, particularly those with our members in their constituencies.
Your help reaching out to MPs is vital to our campaigning progress.
Please contact your MP and congratulate them on their election. You can also inform them of the ELT centres in their constituency, invite them to visit your centre/ school or ask them for a meeting so you can explain what the sector needs from the new government.
The more members who write, the more notice MPs will give to our industry and its needs for future growth.
If you are already in contact with your MP, we suggest you send them a short congratulatory message. You can adapt our template message if you have not already contacted them.
When you email, remember to include your postcode (school or home address), so they know you are a constituent; otherwise, they may not reply to you.
If you have different MPs for your home and school addresses, we suggest you write to both of them. If you get a reply, please send it to us so we can follow up.
