English UK has today launched a new website - www.englishukfairs.com - for the English UK Fairs, which are organised by English UK in partnership with the British Council, UK Trade & Investment and VisitBrtain.

UKCISA, in conjunction with Unipol, have just released a new guide aimed at staff who deal with international students in residential accommodation specifically for HE and FE institutions (but also useful for private sector institutions).

We would like to remind members that under the visitor rules, students cannot spend more than 6 months in any 12 in the UK.

If a student would like to return to the UK after spending 6 months on a Student Visitor Visa, students at B1 can apply for a GSV, but students below B1 will have to wait another 6 months before they can make another SVV application.
