Following the recent success of the English UK Fair in Panama, we are pleased to announce that bookings are now open for the next English UK Fair focussing on the regions of Central and South America. The English UK Fair, Lima 2013 will bring together accredited UK English language centres and study abroad agents in a luxurious hotel located in exclusive San Isidro in the very heart of Peru's City of Kings. 

Over the next couple of months, Macmillan English Campus will be holding a series of online presentations of the English UK Campus and Culture World for any English UK member centre to attend free of charge. You will be able to have a real look at what the English UK Campus offers, discover the delightful new module Culture World and have the chance to ask any burning questions.

Any moves to remove international students from migration figures would have to include English language students as well as those at university for the sector's continuing success.

English UK, which represents more than 450 fully-accredited state and private language centres, says almost 60 per cent of successful university applications come from students already studying in the UK, usually on English courses.

A surprising rise in bookings during the first quarter of this year, positive news about the extended student visitor visa, and a stronger performance than expected in 2011 all contributed to a cautiously positive atmosphere at the English UK conference.

More than 330 agents have already booked to attend this year's StudyWorld London, making the 2012 event the fastest-selling ever.
