IEFT is the largest international education exhibition in Turkey and is sponsored by the agent association, TEAG. Each tour attracts around 130 international education organisations and more than 15,000 potential students and their families. The fair is also attended by top educational agents from Turkey.

English UK village and agent workshop @ IEFT Istanbul / Thursday 26 - Saturday 28 March

English is organising a 'village' and mini agent workshop at IEFT Istanbul. If you book a stand at the Istanbul event, you will be grouped within the village, which will be led by an English UK 'information centre'. The 'village' of English UK members will be branded with the English UK member and 'accredited by the British Council' logos. We'll also have an advertisement in the IEFT Study Abroad magazine to heighten our profile at the event.

On Thursday 26 March (the day before the Istanbul exhibition opens), we are planning on holding an agent briefing session on the changes to the UK's visa system for students in association with the UK Border Agency and local British Embassy. This will be followed by a ½ day 'mini' agent workshop (1:1 appointments) for members participating in the village and an evening networking reception in Hotel Point (in Taksim Square - a 5 minute walk from the Hilton). There will be no additional cost for members, other than their IEFT participation fee.

Brochure racking @ IEFT Istanbul

We are offering all members not able to travel to Turkey the opportunity to display their brochures at the IEFT Spring 2009 Student Recruitment Exhibitions as follows:

There will be 20 brochure racking 'places' available in Istanbul, and 10 in all other cities. We recommend that you send around 100 (a maximum of 200) brochures for each venue (to our shipping agent's warehouse in London) and we'll invoice you the £150 administration fee + the cost of shipping to Turkey after the events.
