Bethany Pomohaci-Ashcroft, Communications Manager

Bethany works alongside Annie and Maisie in the Communications team. As Communications Manager, Bethany is at the heart of English UK's digital and content strategy. She manages day-to-day external communications to enhance the organisation's presence and engage its diverse audiences.

Bethany has a bachelor's degree in English and Hispanic Studies from the University of Liverpool. As part of her studies, she worked as an ELT language assistant for the British Council in Granada, Spain.

Bethany has spent many years living and working in Madrid, honing her expertise in communications across various sectors. Her experience includes a digital marketing role at Learnlight, an EdTech company specialising in English language and soft skills training. Before joining English UK, Bethany worked in Digital Communications at global infrastructure company Ferrovial.

A passionate traveller, Bethany has visited over 30 countries, combining her love for language, culture, and communication in both her personal and professional life.
