Nuntanet Duangtisarn, 23, is from Bangkok in Thailand and is studying IELTS at the Wimbledon School of English in London.

How long are you studying in the UK for?

I'm doing 24 weeks in total, until May 2011. I'm doing IELTS at the moment and then I am going to change on to a general English course.

What made you choose to come and study English in the UK?

I wanted to come to London because I wanted to study for my future career. It's better to learn English here.  

I hope to go to a university in the UK and do my Masters in Art and Photography. I want to be an art director, and I've just graduated from my first degree in Thailand.

Are you enjoying your stay here?

I really like London and really enjoy the culture here.

Is there anything you particularly like?

I am a big Manchester United fan and although I haven't been to a football match yet I hope to go.

I like going out to all the different restaurants here - I love food. I was surprised by the food - it's better than I thought it would be.

Would you recommend studying in the UK to your friends?

Yes. It's a very big chance. It's better for my career in the future.
