UK ELT market intelligence: student statistics from Q2 2023
The latest data from our QUIC cohort confirms that the UK ELT sector saw strong recovery in the second quarter of 2023. The cohort's overall student week volume reached 81% of Q2 2019 levels.
Almost half of the source countries sent higher student week volumes than in Q2 2019. A number of markets show particularly promising short-term growth potential.
Booking types, sources and age ratios were similar to pre-pandemic norms. As observed in previous quarters, traditional source markets again dominated the top rankings and student weeks from traditionally strong junior source markets in Europe continued to grow.
