Campaigning on the key issues affecting UK ELT
We continue to campaign on key issues affecting the operating environment for UK ELT.
Our most immediate priority is to achieve Educational Oversight status for the Accreditation UK scheme. Having provided all the information requested by UK Visas and Immigration and the Home Office, we are now urging the Home Office to obtain agreement at ministerial level that will get this one over the line.
We continue to campaign on a solution to the post-Brexit ban on ID Card travel, an expansion of the Youth Mobility Scheme to include major western European countries, and for the government to set up an employer sponsorship scheme for Ukrainian nationals.
We also have initiatives planned with both Tory backbench and opposition MPs.
