UK 'guest country of honour'
In 2011, the UK has been designated by the organisers of ExpoBelta in partnership with the British Council Brazil as the 'guest country of honour'. This will ensure that the UK 'village' and exhibiting institutions will benefit from additional promotion and PR, heightened visual exposure during the event and an auditorium dedicated to presentations on studying in the UK (the British Council is preparing a programme for this).
There will also be a special joint English UK/British Council stand promoting English in the UK alongside an Education UK branded area.
Belta and the British Council are particularly keen to attract a good number of English UK members to participate in the exhibition, as they feel that the majority of visitors will be seeking English language courses.
