Shakespeare Lives is an unprecedented global programme of events and activities celebrating William Shakespeare's work on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of his death in 2016.
We are excited to partner with the British Council and the GREAT Britain campaign in bringing the Shakespeare Lives campaign to StudyWorld 2016's international education audience.
Delegates are invited to our plenary seminar on Monday afternoon, where Alasdair Donaldson and Rebecca Simor from the British Council will tell us more about the Shakespeare Lives campaign, the bard's global impact and how it can best be harnessed to support the UK's international influence.
We'll continue the theme at our Shakespeare Lives themed welcome reception on Monday evening, adding theatre to industry networking through interaction with a live Shakespeare avatar.
Our Shakespeare Lives exhibition area provides a chance for delegates to learn more about the campaign at their own pace throughout the event. The campaign's events and festivities will run throughout 2016, exploring Shakespeare as a living writer who still speaks for all people and nations.
