English UK ELT Conference
Friday 28 February & Saturday 1 March 2025
London | Hilton London Canary Wharf
The English UK ELT Conference is our largest annual gathering of academic English language teaching staff. This conference is for English language teaching professionals looking for professional development, the latest tools and techniques in our sector, and a space to discuss best practice in ELT management and teaching.
On Friday the conference programme is focused on academic management. Saturday concentrates on teaching practice. Book for both days or select the day that best suits your interests and needs.

Michael Rosen returns to the ELT Conference
We are delighted to have poet and children's author Michael Rosen back for the second year in 2025.
Michael gave the closing talk on the first day of the English UK ELT Conference in 2024, entertaining academic managers in the audience by analysing the grammar of the opening pages of his iconic picture book We're Going on a Bear Hunt and with stories of learning French through rude songs and family holidays.
In 2025, Michael will give the closing talk on day two of the conference, allowing those attending the teaching practice day to hear from him.
